Rice (Kempton), Kaylynn, age 71 of Dayton , passed away Fri. July 6th at Hospice of Dayton. She was born Aug. 17th, 1940 daughter of Hobart & Helen Kempton. Kay attended Vandalia Church of the Nazarene. She loved caring for the children of Precious Ones Learning Center as she maintained a tidy and joyful atmosphere for each one that attends. Kay is survived by her children Debbra Bullock of Fairborn, Tina Perry and Michael Lewis of Spring Lake, North Carolina, Penny and Jim Babcock of Dayton, brother James and Lucy Kempton and a sister Carolyn and Robert Vogelmann, five grandchildren, Crystal Santiago, Brandon Babcock, Michael Bullock, Justin Babcock, Michelle Bullock and three great grandchildren, TJ perry, Haillie Santiago, Alixxzander Santiago and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held July 14th at Vandalia Church of the Nazarene. Family will receive visitors at 11 am followed by a brief service at noon. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
