WENG, Mildred K., age 94 of Harrison Twp., passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 13, 2012. She was born June 12, 1918 in Tipp City, OH, daughter of the late William & Minnie(Wiekert) Krieger. Mildred was a retired employee of the Frigidaire Corporation with 32 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Weng in 2000, Mildred is survived by her daughters, Pamela Bolender (Donald) of Dayton, and Vicki Bolen (Craig) of FL; son, Douglas Weng (Cindy Bowman) of Dayton; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Bolender, Donald Jacob Bolender, Jessica Dawn Bolender and Justin A. Weng; 2 great-grandchildren, Jacob & Matthew Bolender and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, July 18, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Eric Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-7 pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Mildred’s memory.
