Sherri Moss

MOSS, Sherri L., age 65, of Butler Twp., passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Austin Trace Health & Rehab Center.   Sherri was born October 26, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Rex Lee and Grace Marie (Haight) Moss.  Sherri loved puzzles and coloring, enjoyed time with her family and friends, and was proud of her achievements as a Special Olympic athlete.  She participated in events such as the softball throw, the shot put and the 50M walk.  She loved the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas.

Preceded in death by her mother, Grace, Sherri is survived by her father, Rex; her brother, Robert Moss; sister, Janet Martin (Steve) niece, Jessica Martin, and nephew, Nathan Martin. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 19 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia with Pastor Michael Malcosky officiating.  Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation – Ohio, 120 W Second St., Suite 425, Dayton, OH 45402 in Sherri’s memory.
