LONGLEY, Adele M., age 91 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Adele was born February 6, 1926 in Dayton OH, daughter of the late Stanley & Eva Markey. She was a member of the St. Christopher Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Luther Longley, son, Dan Longley and her sister, Ann Gostomsky. Adele is survived by her daughters, Diane Belmaggio (Joe), Marilyn Music (Lon) and Peggy Eads (Lou), sons, Edward Longley (Wally) and David Longley; and sister-in-law, Betty Ashley of MD; daughter-in-law, Vicki Longley; grandchildren, Lisa Smart, Kelly Goens, Kevin Longley, Ron Pullins, Eric Pullins, Chrystal Vidrine, Katie Mitchell, Kyle Eads, Courtney & Cullen Hoefler; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces, 1 nephew and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 21 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia with Rev. Fr. John Tonkin officiating. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia. The family will receive friends at St. Christopher Catholic Church on Monday evening from 5-7 pm.
