FRYE, Agnes Faire, age 88 of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton after a brief illness. She was born May 10, 1922 in Big Stone Gap, VA, daughter of the late Hugh Williams and Sarah Lake Belton. Agnes attended the Church of God and was retired from Shoppers Fair. Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years,Solie Frye; sisters, Kay Sullivan & Ferne Williams of CA; brother, Hugh Williams; and son, Bruce Stahl of Dayton. Agnes is survived by 3 daughters, Betty Hannon & husband, George of AZ, Wanda Bragg & husband, Dale of Clayton and Mary Trantanella & husband, Michael of Butler Twp.; 1 son, Randall Frye & wife, Kay of GA; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; & she will sadly miss the birth of her first great-great grandchild expected in May. She is also survived by 1 sister-in-law, Mary Priest & husband, Haymon of MD; 1 brother-in-law, James Frye & wife, Francis of Kettering, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Agnes enjoyed making all kinds of crafts from towels to afghans and doilies. She always had a piece of cake, candy, pie or cookies for you to take home with you. She loved to crochet and leaves behind numerous afghans as an expression of her talent and love for her family. She always wanted to know what color and size you wanted. She was a loving, caring, giving person that never met a stranger and never saw faults in anyone. She was always showed pictures to people of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren which she adored and loved very much. She will leave a hole in the hearts of her family that will never be filled. She has gone home to be with her other family and relatives with no more pain or suffering. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, March 7 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Bobbi Predmore officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Agness memory. The family will would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to all who helped Agnes including Huber Heights EMS, GSH ER Staff and the 6300 Nursing Staff and Physicians with special gratitude to Hospice of Dayton.
