Alberta J. Snyder

Alberta J. Snyder Age 82, a former resident of Tipp City for 30 years, passed away Wednesday, June 24, in Gainesville, GA where she had been living for the past 10 years. Alberta was born August 29, 1932 in Jackson, KY to the late Mack & Dessie (Binion) Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Berton Snyder; and son, Steven Snyder. Alberta was a graduate of Kiser High School, a former member of West Charleston Church of the Brethren and she worked as a real estate agent for 30 years. She is survived by two daughters, Debra Asbury and Judith Dearth; eight grandchildren, including Emily Allison who served as Alberta's care giver; and by many great grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday (6/30) at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at11:00 a.m., Wednesday (7/1) at the funeral home with Pastors Nancy & Irvin Heishman officiating. Interment will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. .
