Alberta M. Wilson

Wilson, Alberta M. age 85 of Harrison Twp passed away Sunday February 6, 2011 at her residence. She was born May 12, 1925 in Jackson, OH daughter of the late Martin & Ethel Hammond. Alberta was a member of the Buckeye Squares Square Dance Club. She dearly loved the time she spent taking care of her granddaughter Kayla when she was younger and enjoyed going to all of Kaylas sporting events over the years. Alberta was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters and an infant daughter Vicky Lynn Wilson. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Ernest; her beloved daughter Tena & husband Mark Schlein of Vandalia, her granddaughter Kayla Schlein and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral services for family and friends will be held Saturday February 12 at 11:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Tom weeks officiating. Burial will follow at Willowview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00am until the time of services. If so desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Albertas memory.
