Aldine Bolinger

BOLINGER, Aldine L. age 87 of Vandalia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday March 5, 2009 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. She was born January 12, 1922 in Middletown, daughter of the late Edgar & Mable (Osborne) Halderman. She was a former employee of the Amateur Trapshooting Association and was a legal secretary. Aldine was a member of the Christian Life Center and the Butler Twp. Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert and one daughter Mary C. Bolinger, 2 brothers Robert and Virgil and one sister Faye. Aldine was the beloved mother of Robert D. (Lee Ann) Bolinger of Reynoldsburg, Judith A. (Paul) Kastner of El Reno, OK, Sandra J. Bolinger of Louisville, KY; beloved grandmother to Scott Kastner, Toni (Skip) Ward, Amber and Andrea Bolinger; great-grandmother to Heather and Cole; sister to Marvin Halderman of Middletown, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday March 9 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Libby Martin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or the Christian Life Center Memorial fund in Aldines memory.
