Alice S. Broida

Age 85, of Huber Heights, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. Born September 6, 1931 in Clinton, NJ and raised in Titusville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Maizie (Riddle) Smithers Sr.

Alice is survived by son, Michael Broida of St. Peters, MO; daughters, Marta Dickerson (Kevin) of Richmond, IN and Jo Clark (Paul) of Huber Heights; granddaughters, Jamison (Koogler) Hamilton (Wayne) and Sharon (Koogler) Stewart (Joshua); four great-grandchildren; brothers, Harold Smithers Jr. of Titusville, PA, and Milt (Shirley) Smithers of Centerville, PA.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Broida with whom she owned/operated the Funnie Farm Bookstore in Vandalia for 27 years; brother, William Bell and sister, Ruth Kraeuter.
