Allen Andrews

ANDREWS, Allen died May 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Catherine (K), his parents, Lt. General Frank M. & Jeanette Allen Andrews, and his sister, Josephine Whitlock. He is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Frank M. & Leslie Andrews; daughter & son-in-law, Jan & Robert Clark; granddaughter, Camille Catherine Andrews; sister, Jean Andrews Peterson; sister-in-law, Marjorie Tidmore & several nieces and nephews. Allen will be remembered especially for his love of family, his wit, his gentle courtesy and his welcoming friendship. Allen was greatly loved and admired by all who knew him. A Memorial Service was held May 27 at Hearth & Home of Vandalia. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Dayton Foundation for the National Aviation Hall of Fame Endowment Fund (Fund 3237) or the St. Pauls Episcopal Church Endowment Fund (Fund 3173).
