Ann F. Gray

GRAY, Ann F., 87, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2013. She was born on June 4, 1925 to Valentino & Josephine Ottaviano in Bridgeport, PA. She is survived by her husband, Alfred Wm. Gray, Jr. of 68 wonderful years, daughters JoAnn (Jim) Brown, Judy Brown, Rosemary (Steve) Alex and son, Alfred (Paulette) Gray, 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. During her 30 years in Vandalia, Anne worked from 1960-1970 as head cashier at Kroger's. She was a founding member of the St. Christopher Church, a member of the Vandalia Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and a founding member of the Jolly Jets camping group. At retirement, she and her husband moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where they enjoyed 35 years of traveling, boating and walking the beach. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Alter and Rosary Society and a reader every Sunday. She was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Women's Auxiliary. A Memorial Prayer Service will be held at St. Christopher Church Catholic Church, Vandalia on Saturday, February. 2, 2013 at 10AM with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Hospice of NW Ohio. Local arrangements by Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
