Anna R. "Becky" Freeman

FREEMAN, Anna R., “Becky”, age 88 of Troy, formerly of Vandalia, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Brookdale of Troy. Anna was born November 12, 1928 in Connersville, IN, daughter of the late Edward & Gladys Jones. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, and loved tending to her flower gardens. Preceded in death by her husband, John, daughter, Gayle; 5 brothers, George, Louis, Gordon, Bill & Earl; and 1 sister, Ella Lee, Becky is survived by 2 daughters, Karen & husband, Don Profitt of Mason, and Jeanne & husband, Steve Bernier of Tipp City; 1 son, Stan & wife, Sandy Freeman of Lakeside, MT; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 4, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Chaplain Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
