Ardelle L. Brown

BROWN, Ardelle L., age 98, formerly of Englewood, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Stonespring of Vandalia.  Ardelle was born May 9, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late James & Naomi (Clark) Miller.  She was a retired employee of Inland – Division of General Motors and also retired from Meijer.  Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Brown and one brother, Robert Miller, Ardelle is survived by 3 children, David Brown of Vandalia, Linda Brewer (Sonny) of KY, and Beverly Bowling of IN; 6 grandchildren, Tracy, Michelle, Michael, Danielle, Amanda and Jeffery; and 13 great-grandchildren, Joey, Corey, Chelsea, Jacob, Brittany, Joshua, Haley, Kaley, Devon & D.J., Sloan, Maxim and Austin.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 15, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:30 am until time of service.
