Arthur Hellmund

HELLMUND, Arthur Jr. Duke Art age 69 of West Milton, passed away Friday, May 18, 2007 at University Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born April 16, 1938 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Arthur R. Sr. & Goldie I. (Phillips) Hellmund. Arthur was a US Army Veteran, was an employee of Cenveo Corp. in Sidney and was a member of the Polk Grove United Church of Christ. Art is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frieda of West Milton; 1 daughter & son-in-law, Elaine & Mark Jacobs of Miamisburg; 1 son & daughter-in-law, Clifford & Karen Hellmund of Englewood; 5 grandchildren, Adam, Megan, Jordan, Samantha and Dylan; 2 sisters. Arlene Jenks and Mary Denney; 1 brother, John Hellmund; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 21, at the Polk Grove United Church of Christ; 9190 Frederick Pike with Rev. John Fowler officiating. Burial to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Sunday evening (TODAY) from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Polk Grove United Church of Christ Memorial Fund in Arts memory.
