Asa M. Center Jr.

CENTER, Asa M. Jr age 86 of Pewaukee, WI formerly of Dayton, passed away Sunday January 31, 2010 in Pewaukee. He was born May 31, 1923 in Middletown, son of the late Asa & Lydia (Tolson) Center. Asa was a retired employee of G.M. Frigidaire and was a member of the Brookville Masonic Lodge and the Miamisburg Moose Lodge. He was preceded in death by his first wife Alma (Rawling) Center and one brother Rondal Center. Asa is survived by one son Doug Center of Miamisburg; one daughter Linda and husband James Lightner of Kettering; one granddaughter Jennifer & husband Danny Belvo; 2 great-grandchildren Tyler and Rylie; 4 sisters Irene Atkinson of Centerville, Betty Millikin of Dayton, Leola Richards of FL, Mary Ruth Barnt of Vandalia; 2 brothers Orval Center of MI, and William Center of GA, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday Feb.5 at 1:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Royal Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00am until time of service.
