Ashley Guizzo

GUIZZO, Ashley M., age 23 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born September 9, 1984 in Dayton, OH and was a graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School. Ashley is survived by her husband, Justin Guizzo; her parents, Tania & Roy Stone of Vandalia; her birth father, Patrick Seth & wife, Jenny of Huber Heights; 1 sister, Caity Seth of Huber Heights; grandparents, Rosalie & Bob Vance of Springboro and Donald & Sandra Perry of Centerville; aunt, Anita & husband, Brian Starrett of Dayton; cousin, Brendon Starrett; her beloved cat, Misty ; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and good friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Thursday, March 20 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. Burial to follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday (TODAY) from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital in Ashleys memory. The family would like to offer special thanks to Ashleys chemo nurse, Staci at Samaritan North, her favorite and lifelong nurse at Childrens Medical Center, Nancy Duffy, and to the numerous doctors and nurses at Good Samaritan Hospital who provided such compassionate care throughout Ashleys illness.
