Audrey F. Proctor

PROCTOR, Audrey F. age 86 of Harrison Twp., passed away Sunday August 19, 2012 at the Cypress Pointe Health Campus. Audrey was born April 4, 1926 daughter of the late Robert & Julia (Lambert) Meeker. She was a former employee of the Dobbs House Restaurant and was a member of VFW Post# 9582 and #5018Ladies Auxiliary where she had served as Auxiliary Chaplain. Preceded in death by her first husband James Grant, her 2nd husband Paul Proctor, and one son James V. Grant, Audrey is survived by 2 daughters Tamara (Michael) Sweeney of Englewood, Victoria (Ed) Sullivan of Springfield; 9 grandchildren Kathy (Mark) George, Judy Grant, Sonja (Troy) Graham, James V. (Trischa) Grant Jr., Jim Banks, Rene (Rob) Wagner, John Sweeney, Kimberly Sweeney, Suni (Derrick) Nason; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; special nieces Andrea Stewart, Sue Steele, and Dorlene Dougherty and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 23 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone funeral home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:30pm until time of the service. If so desired, contributions may be made to Acclaim Hospice in Audreys memory.
