Barbara Ayers

AYERS, Barbara J., age 73 of Brookville, passed away Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born September 28, 1933 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Aaron Elsworth and Goldie Mae (Gillette) Brown. Preceded in death by 5 brothers, Barbara is survived by 1 daughter, Vickie Vires of Brookville; 1 sister, Flossie Wolf of Tipp City, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 1, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Mr. James Derflinger officiating. Burial to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society in Barbaras memory.
