Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Bouska
Age 76, of Springfield, Ohio went to be with her Lord on September 10, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born November 25, 1947, in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Martin L. Ketchie and Amanda M. (Bame) Ketchie, formerly from Newport News, Virginia. She worked many years as a hostess at a family steak house. She was employed by both Emery Worldwide and Piedmont Airlines Reservations. Bobbie was a homemaker. She loved her children, Deanna Hattenback of Charlotte, N.C., Antony (Tony) B. Moore (Kelly) of Springfield, Steve Moore (Diane) of Charlotte. She has 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild (Peyton Butler). Bobbie was preceded in death by her first child, Michelle. She is survived by her husband, Frank A. Bouska, whom she married on March 5, 1976. They had been married for over 48 years. Bobbie is also survived by her loving sister, Brenda Flora of Newport News, VA. Bobbie’s hobby was primitive paintings and wood crafts. She was self-taught in interior decorating. She knew how to make a house a home. Bobbie was also an early gamer. She enjoyed playing Mario video games with her grandchildren and family. We will always remember her chicken dance, and teeks. She loved having her family over for Sunday dinners as well as the Holidays. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Dayton.
