Barbara L Carroll

CARROLL, Barbara L., age 63 of Butler Twp., passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Dayton VA Medical Center. She was born November 3, 1946 in Troy, OH, daughter of the late Russell H. & Iona M. (Berry) Johnson. Barbara was an active member of the Open Bible Christian Church, worked at the Brethren Food Co-Op in Tipp City, and was a member of Womens Aglow. She also taught at New Creations School, worked at Red Lobster, and had worked the polls on Election Days. Barbara is survived by her husband of 42 years Gary Carroll; one daughter Michelle & husband Rob Huffines of Westerville; one son Russell & wife Carolyn Carroll of Union; one brother Gary & wife Joyce Johnson of FL; one sister Patricia & husband Robert Hentze of FL; 6 grandchildren Daniel, Elizabeth, Brianna, Zack, Grace, Elijah and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday November 16 at 1:00pm at the Open Bible Christian Church 4715 Burkhardt Rd. Dayton with Pastor Randy Grimes officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 6pm. Arrangements in care of the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
