DAVIS, Barbara J., age 53 of Columbus, GA, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 1, 2009. She was born February 1, 1955 in Richmond, KY. Barbara is survived by her mother, Phyllis M. Burrows of Vandalia; 3 children, Richard Marcum, Angela Cook & Steve Davis; 2 brothers, David Ballard (Melinda) & Richard Ballard (Jamie) and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 5, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2 pm.
