Barbara A. Harvey

Barbara A. Harvey, 81, of Long Boat Key, Florida, formerly of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 in Florida. She was born to Frank & Easter Perry on August 22, 1942 in Gullet, Kentucky. Barbara was retired from Piedmont/US Air after many years of service. She was a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Red Hat Society. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jay Red Harvey, and her daughter, Jai Angela Harvey. Survived by her 2 sons, Homer Franklin Harvey (Rhonda) and William Hodd Harvey; 3 grandchildren, Katherine, Lola & Ava Harvey; special niece, Diana Lowe, and several other nieces, nephews, many friends & co-workers.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2023 at the Abby Mausoleum Chapel at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Andy Warren, officiating.
