Barry G. Newsome

Newsome, Barry Age 71 of Vandalia passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 25, 1942 in Dayton, OH the son of the late Harold and Sultana Newsome. Barry grew up in the city of Vandalia, OH and graduate from Vandalia Butler High School in 1960. He continued his education at Defiance College and upon graduation returned to Vandalia, where he lived the remainder of his life. Barry was the owner and proprietor of two businesses K&N Systems, Inc. and Cash Wagon, Inc. which he ran for 25 years. Barry was preceded in death by his father Harold and mother Sultana Newsome and his favorite Aunt, Virginia Lusa. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Vicki Newsome, son David (Erin) Newsome, daughter Melissa (Brett) Stammen, brother Randy (Blair) Newsome, sister Jackie Gitman, mother-in-law Laura Partee, sister and brother-in-law Kandi and Skip Kowalski, cousins John (Marilyn) and George Lusa and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Saturday August 10, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church 7700 Dog Leg Rd. Dayton, OH 45414 from 1:00 pm " 3:00 pm, with a service immediately following.
