Bernard Penney

PENNEY, Bernard G. Bernie age 66 of Huber Heights, passed away Thursday October 26, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born May 12, 1940 in Dayton, son of the late Calvin & Marie (Chambers) Penney. He was a retired employee of Hostess Cake and was a member of the Dabel Eagles Lodge #3031, Sons of the Amvets Post#24, Sons of the VFW Post#3283, and was Commander of the Sons of the American Legion Post #619. Bernie was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Penney, one daughter Pamela, and 2 brothers Roland and Bobby Penney. He is survived by 3 sons Bernard Bernie Penny Jr. and wife Malana of Kettering, Michael & wife Melissa Penney of KY, and Jeffrey & wife Nici Penney of Dayton; special friend Janet Judd of Huber Heights, one brother John & wife Gail Penney of Englewood; 9 grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 30 at 10:00am at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 4pm. If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Bernies memory.
