McNUTT, Betty J., age 82 of Miamisburg passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 21, 1930 in Ontario, Canada daughter of the late William & Margaret (Moffitt) White. A woman of many talents, she was Owner & Operator of the Phillipsburg PDQ with her husband, Leon. Betty was a past Bank Vice-President, was the Past-President and member of the Elkettes, Lodge #58 Dayton, and the American Legion Post #668 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid golfer, card player and loved playing Bingo. Betty loved the Cincinnati Reds, and either watched or listened to every Reds game. Betty truly loved life, and belonged to the Vandalia Methodist Church. Preceded in death by one daughter, Laura Sue and one grandson, Brett Michael, her brother, Bobby White and her sister, Ann Pierce. Betty is survived by children, Mike (Vickie) Wolfenbarger of Englewood, Greg (Amy) Wolfenbarger of Springboro, Sheri (David) Churches of MI, Thomas (Mary) McNutt of PA, Scott (Christine) McNutt of WI, Dan (Janet) of TX; 4 sisters, Sarah White, Virginia Myers, Peggy Waltz, & Joyce Spain; 1 brother, Bill White; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, close family friend, Phyllis Palmer, her beloved dog, Reno and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, February 7, at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Thomas Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 4:00 pm until time of service. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, February 8 at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N. Dixie Dr., Tipp City. If so desired, contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, P.O. Box 36085, Indianapolis, IN 46236-0085 or to the Vandalia United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in Bettys memory. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the numerous caregivers who have assisted Betty and her family over her three year journey. Arrangements entrusted to Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, Vandalia.
