Betty J Thompson

THOMPSON, Betty J. age 74 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday March 3, 2009 at her residence. She was born February 5, 1935 in Logan Co. W.VA, daughter of the late Cecil & Rosie (Marcum) Browning. She was preceded in death by one son Shawn, one grandson Roy Allen, and one brother. Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years Roy; 3 sons Cecil, Tim, and Fred Thompson; one daughter Cynthia Kister; 3 sisters Barbara French, Carolyn Browning and Maxine Marcum; 3 brothers Raymond, Virgil Bud , and Walter Browning; 6 grandchildren Jessica, Jamie, Lynnette, Ashley, Stanley & Betty; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday March 9 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Pastor Dan Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm.
