KASER, Beverly A., a.k.a. “Mo,” age 84 of Butler Twp., passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Brookdale of Englewood. She was born August 15, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio, daughter of the late Hugh J. and Geneva V. (Hughes) Vehorn. Beverly was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church, The NAIM Group and was a proud member of the percussion section of the New Horizons Band at the University of Dayton. She was an active outdoor enthusiast enjoying golf, tennis, and snow-skiing. She enjoyed bowling and was known by family and friends as the “Queen of Sequence” (the board game). Beverly worked for Trips Travel in Englewood as well as Collette Tours and proudly traveled the world.
Beverly is survived by her children, Jack Kaser (Karen), Jill Smedley (Buddy) and Todd Kaser (Chaland Hobbs); 5 grandchildren, Kortney Kaser-Fishman (Scott), Chad Kaser, Brittney Kaser-Fiala (Chad); Beau Smedley (Candace Smith) and Joey Smedley (Madison Lee); 5 great-grandchildren, Kaden, Isaiah and Abel Fishman and Dashiell and Isley Fiala; along with a host of extended family members and wonderful friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 28, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, Ohio 45377 with Deacon Leo Cordonnier officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pink Ribbon Girls in Beverly’s memory.
