Beverly Ann Walker

Beverly Ann Walker (nee: Pickeral) Of Vandalia left us on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Born in Dayton, OH on Feb. 17, 1938, Beverly graduated with honors from Northridge High School in 1956. She was a majorette and a member of Fred Miller's BlackHawks. Beverly retired from General Motors after 19 years, and also worked at St. Christopher Parish after retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mae Pickeral; brother, Billy; and sister, Delores K. Scott. Survived by her loving husband of the past 46 years, Kenneth Walker; son, Steven Scott (Terri); daughter, Crystal Krieger (Dustin); stepchildren, Karen McDonald, Todd Walker (Dawn), Dennis Scott (Debbie), Vicky Callow (Thomas), George Scott; sister, Marlene Winter (Russ); niece, Rhonda L. Kincaid (Bill Hauer), nephew, Charles MacNeil (Kim), brother-in-law, Rhea Scott; grandchildren, Allie and Christopher Scott, Megan Boss, Cody and Cheyenne Krieger, Ashley Clark, Jacob and Mitchell McDonald, Kellie Wendte, Kristi Jackson, Lauren, Tom, and Michael Callow; great grandchildren, Aubrey Clark and Kayden Curry. Beverly was an outstanding Wife, Mother, and Great/Grandmother. There was nothing she would not do for her family and friends. Many often received Esther Price candy or Furst Florist flowers, just because of her loving and thoughtful nature. Words cannot express our love and how much she will be missed. She was our rock. Services will be Tuesday, June 2, at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia, OH. Visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with service to follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Scott Ritz officiating. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to either the Northridge Wesleyan Church, 1842 Neff Rd. Dayton OH 45414, ASPCA, or St. Jude Children Hospital.
