WATSON, Billy G. Bill born January 16, 1939, of Lewisburg, Ohio. Bill passed away Saturday morning August 6, 2011 at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was an Air Force veteran and he retired from McCauley after 36 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother and father William Watson & Minnie Watson Bentley; also preceded in death by brothers William Watson Jr. & John Watson, and his beloved daughter Dena Watson Lewchenko. He is survived by his loving wife Genell Watson of 54 years, and his loving daughters Wendy Watson, and Cheryl (Larry) Davis; his grandchildren Jessica Lawson, Larry (Missy) Davis Jr., Eric (Mindy) Davis, Matthew (Rhonda) Davis, Christopher (Katie) Layne, and Megan Lewchenko; 12 great-grandchildren; special friends Maurice & Margie Turner, Mike Stansberry, John Stansberry, Larry Collins; his aunt Pearl and special cousins Jerry, Angel, and Teresa. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his home and his family. He loved bowling in mixed leagues for many years. He especially loved his summer Ham Bones with his grandsons. His loving daughter Cheryl & husband Larry and wife Genell were with him till the end. Bill is at peace now with his daughter. A special thanks to the nurses from Hospice of Dayton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 10, at 12:00 noon at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 10:00am until time of the services.
