Blanch Marie Gallihar

Blanch Marie Gallihar Age 93, of Englewood, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. Blanch was born March 29, 1922 in Inman, Virginia to the late Zachariah & Nannie (Statzer) Wells. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cleo Gallihar; brothers, Thomas & Curtis Wells and sisters, Irene Holland & Dorothy White. Blanch was a member of Greenview Calvary Tabernacle for many years; she retired from General Motors Inland Division with over 30 years of service; and she was a long-time volunteer with Good Samaritan Hospital. She is survived by two children, Robert Gallihar (Kathleen) and Judy Kathleen Catanzaro; two sisters, Betty Christian and Frances Booze; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and by her beloved nephew, David Wells. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday (11/11) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Blanch to either the Greenview Calvary Tabernacle Elevator Building Fund, 8010 N.
