Bobby Lee Miller, Sr.

Age 88, of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at his home. Bobby was born August 18, 1928 in Linton, Indiana. Bobby was a member of the Vandalia Baptist Temple where he served on the Finance Committee and he was a U. S. Army veteran; He is survived by his wife of the past 18 years, Shirley K. (Washburn) Miller; children, Robert Miller (Tina), Beverly Miller, Teresa Hanson (Jim), Tammy Wolf, Tim Wolf, Thomas Citty & Sharon Citty; grandchildren, Jennifer Schieweck (Brian), Amanda Kilpela (Jon), Stacey Miller, Amy Miller (Ali McDonald), Larry Paul Atkins, Rebekah Fielder, Lori Atkins, William Atkins, Ashley Miller, Andrew Hanson, Arika Hanson, Danielle Parworth, Brittany Kenny, Justin Wolf, Valerie Thorn (Steve) & Sarah Powers; great grandchildren, Robert Schieweck, Brian Schieweck, Sara Schieweck, Hailey Kilpela, James Kilpela, Grace Kipela, Cohen Shaw, Jonathan Fielder, Ashley Atkins, Ryan Shockley, Caraline Shockley, Billy Atkins, Ian Atkins, Logan Miller, Jacob Parworth, Kiley Parworth, Peyton Parworth, MaKayla Tant, Mason Kenney; and a great great grandchild, Ava Rose Atkins. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Road, Vandalia, OH 45377. The family will be receiving friends following the memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Bobby to the Vandalia Baptist Temple.
