Bobby E. Ward

WARD, Bobby E., age 75 of St. Paris, passed away on December 17, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lou; daughter, Pam (Brian) Dershem of Vandalia; sons, Ernie Ward of St. Paris and Karl & wife, Bea Ward of St. Paris; 5 beloved grandchildren, Mikala, Egan, Emilina, Owen and William. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Hurley and Delia Ann Ward and siblings, Elmer, William, Helen, Betty, Ruby and Alfred. Bob was born June 18, 1932 in Kingston, TN and served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1957. Bob created Yankee Electric in 1977 and retired in 1997. Bob was a quiet man of great character who unswervingly served the Lord until he was called to his heavenly home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, December 20, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Pastor Richard Keeran officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Trotwood. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Paris Church of God Building Fund, 122 E. Walnut St., St. Paris, OH 43072 in Bobbys memory.
