Bruce A. Sweigart

Bruce is survived by his parents; his son, Joseph Sweigart; his brother Randy Sweigart (Candy) and their children Brooke (Tyler) and Brenden (Kaitlyn); and his sister Cindy Sweigart Dukes (Shawn) and their children Elly and Spencer; and Sonya Riggs, Bruce’s fiancé. He is also survived by his great nephew, Tommy Fett.

Bruce worked for his father as a site manager for S & Z Home Improvement LLC. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for baseball. He was a loyal and loving father, son, and uncle who was always willing to help anyone in need.

Bruce was a member of First Light Church in Vandalia and was assured his relationship with Jesus Christ.

Funeral services for family and friends will be held Friday April 12 at 1:00pm at The First Light Church 140 Elva Ct. Vandalia. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 11:00am until the time of services at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
