Bryan C. Brun

BRUN, Bryan C. age 62 of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday November 21, 2012 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born August 16, 1950 in Dayton, son of the late Bernard & Evelyn (Ruf) Brun. Bryan was a program manager for The Balancing Company and was a member of Amvets Post#99, VFW Post #9582 and the American Legion Post#668 all of Vandalia. Bryan is survived by his wife Millie Hoke; 2 sons Matthew Brun and Tim (Emily) Krum; 2 daughters Julie (Ron) Read and Trish (Allen) Downey; brothers Kent (Janice) Brun, Neal Brun, Tony (Michele) Brun, Thomas (Kay) Brun; step-brothers Gary (Barbara) Chasteen and Gregg Chasteen; sister Theresa Brun; step-mother Delores Brun; 6 grandsons and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held Sunday November 25 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Amvets Post #99 1123 S. Brown School Rd. Vandalia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or to the OSU James Cancer Hospital in Columbus in Bryans memory.
