Wynston “Brynt” Younce
Age 39, of West Milton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Wooddell; his uncle, Bradley Younce; and by his step-brother, Joshua Owens.
Brynt was a graduate of ITT Tech with a degree in computer science. He was very talented in computer engineering and enjoyed creating & writing his own computer software programs. Brynt was a talented musician with a passion for guitar and enjoyed teaching guitar to his children. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes with his brothers & family, spending time with his family and he was very strong in his faith in the Lord. He was loved beyond measure and will be dearly missed.
Brynt is survived by three children, Noah (18 years old), Micah (16 years old) & Gracie (14 years old) and their mother, Carolyn (Harris) Younce; his mother, Karen K. (Wooddell) Younce; his father, Douglas Younce, Sr. & his wife, Sue; his maternal grandmother, Iris Wooddell; paternal grandparents, Max & Marjorie (Horn) Younce; siblings, Brooks Younce & his wife, Lindsay, Jessalyn Younce and Douglas Younce, Jr.; nephew, Devan Guzman – active duty military fire control specialist serving in Romania, nieces, Kailyn Guzman, Alayna Guzman, Xiera Younce and Zella Younce; four step-siblings, Nate Hill, Erin Arwood, James Owens & Justin Owens; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and by his extended family & many good friends.
The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, May 16, at the Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Road, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Rick Washburn & Brynt’s uncle, Rev. Dr. Scott Wooddell of Dallas, Texas officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City. Following the committal service at Maple Hill family & friends are invited to gather at Calvary Baptist Church, 1045 Monroe-Concord Road, Troy for a time of food & fellowship celebrating Brynt’s life.
In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that contributions be made in memory of Brynt to a fund established to benefit his children. To donate click here . In the alternative, contributions may be placed in a memorial fund basket at the church on Tuesday. Checks should be made payable to Brynt’s brother, Brooks Younce.
