Camellia Maria Sesslar Moore (August 4, 1911 to November 9, 2009) Camille (Granny) Moore left us November 9th to join her beloved husband, Robert F. Moore in a world that is full of music and pain free dancing. Born August 4, 1911, the daughter of Edward & Charlotte Sesslar in Dayton, Ohio, she spent most of her 98 years in Dayton, along with her siblings: Jessie Parrott, Rachel Schroeder, Ellen Johansson, Martha Price, and Ed and Beth Sesslar Camille and Bob were parents of 5 children: Robert & Judy E. Moore, Gary & Judy A. Moore, Michael (deceased) & Meryl Moore, Jessie Moore Thatcher, & Cindy Moore Glaser & Steve. There are 15 grandchildren, whom she loved very much, including Mica, Matt, Andy & Jami Glaser, Sharon & Ron Clark, Brenda & Lew Chapman, Mike & Karen, Duane & Becky Moore. Adrianna Moore Donaldson & Kory, Christopher & Lee Ann, Tony & Deanne, Ryan & Heather, Joel & Lisa Moore, Sam & Millie, & Amy Cotterman, Nate & Carrie Thatcher. She also leaves a legacy of 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and her constant companion dog, Agnes. Camille was a 45-year employee of Elder-Beerman Stores eventually retiring from the Trotwood store at the young age of 84. She was a founding member of The Beerman Girls and attended her last luncheon in October. She also worked at the Rike Kumler Company and Donenfelds Clothing store. Camille and Bob retired to Alva, Florida for many years before returning home. They were long-term members of Triangle R Riding Club and the Dayton Motorcycle Club and Camille was also a member of the Champaign Co. Ohio Horsemans Council. She loved to travel and was able to visit New Zealand, Australia, and Hawaii, cruise the Caribbean and went on many adventures with her family and friends. A celebration of Camilles life will be held at Morton- Whetstone funeral home in Vandalia on Sunday, November 15th from 1 to 3 PM with a wake at the Glasers following the celebration. She will join other family members at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. The family requests any honorariums be sent to Dayton Hospice in her name, so they may continue to offer comfort to others and also to lift a glass in remembrance of all mothers who have loved us.
