Carl Logan

LOGAN, Carl age 80 of Vandalia, passed away unexpectedly, Friday June 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 9, 1931 in Jellico, TN son of the late Clarence & Frances (Bolen) Logan. Carl was a retired employee of the Inland Div. of GM and was a longtime member of the Vandalia Baptist Temple. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Jean Logan in 2009. Carl is survived by one brother Clarence Logan Jr.; 2 sisters Pearl Moses and Opal Leach all of TN; nieces Norma McFellin of Vandalia, Sue Troy of TN, Joann Huff of Tipp City; nephews Michael McFellin of Vandalia, Mike Leach of TN, Kenny Jones of TN, Russell Strunk of KY and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday June 28 at 11:00am at the Vandalia Baptist Temple 724 Helke Rd. with Pastor Rick Washburn officiating. Burial will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00am until time of the services. Arrangements in care of the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home.
