Carl L. Richter

RICHTER, Carl L. age 68, of Huber Heights, OH died suddenly Christmas Eve morning. Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elizabeth (nee Peery) Richter and nephew John Kearney. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Billie S. (nee Johnson); son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Tiffany and granddaughter Aley of Huber Heights; daughter Michelle Zachman and grandsons Brandon and Isaiah of Westerville, OH; step-mother, Rebecca Richter and mother-in- law Cora M. Johnson of Huber Heights; sister Donna J. Richter, of San Antonio, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. He graduated from Fairborn High School in 1961 and retired from Chrysler Corporation after 35 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving with the Army 47th Transportation Company. Carl was a long-time member of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 4:30-6:00 pm on Wednesday, December 28th at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia, OH 45377. Services will be at 6:00 pm with The Rev. Thomas Hanover presiding.
