Carmie Moore

MOORE, Carmie age 91 of Dayton, passed away Friday October 16, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital following an illness. Carmie was born August 3, 1924 in Campton, KY daughter of the late Curt & Sarah (Taylor) Brewer. She was a retired employee of Monarch Marking Systems. Carmie was preceded in death by her husband Lester N. Moore in 1988, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by one daughter Cindy Bailey; one son Lester Moore; 2 brothers Kenneth Brewer and E.C. & wife Faye Brewer; one sister Mary & husband Andy Graham; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday October 23 at 2:00pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home 139 S. Dixie Dr. Vandalia with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.
