Carol C Dickinson

DICKINSON, Carol C., age 75, of Clayton, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Englewood Manor. She was born September 27, 1933 in Dayton, OH, daughter of the late Lowell & Elsie (Graf) Cappel. Carol was a graduate of Fairview High School, Miami University and Wright State University. She began her teaching career with the Tipp City Schools and retired from the Trotwood-Madison School District. She was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church and was an avid golfer. She participated in many Ladies Leagues at the NCR Country Club where she made many friends. Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, John C. Dickinson; 1 son, John M. Dickinson & wife, Susan of Shelby Twp., MI; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Marie, Madison Joy, Elaine Beth & James Eric and many loyal friends. Carol was always eager and willing to help anyone in need. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, April 18 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia with Rev. Barbara Wiechel officiating. Burial to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Brookville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:30 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fairview UMC Memorial Fund in Carols memory.
