Carol L. Thompson

THOMPSON, Carol L. age 77 of New Lebanon, passed away Thursday July 28, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born June 24, 1934 in Jefferson City, MO daughter of the late Edward & Ernestine (Page) Davis. Carol was a graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and was a former employee of BF&S Printing. Preceding Carol in death was one sister JoAnn. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Richard Thompson; 3 sons Larry (Linda) Kilmer of Brookville, Randy (Brenda) Kilmer of Eaton, Tim (Vivian) Kilmer of New Bremen; 2 step-daughters Tammy Thompson of Dayton, Krista (Tom) Durning of Union; one brother Kenny (Margie) Davis of Springfield; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday August 1 at 12:00 noon at Polk Grove United Church of Christ 9190 Frederick Pike with Rev. John Fowler officiating. Burial will follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00am until time of the services. If so desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association in Carols memory.
