Carolyn A. High

HIGH, Carolyn A., age 68 of Huber Heights, went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 30, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in LaFollette, TN on August 26, 1947 and was preceded in death by her parents, Dewitt & Mattie Hayes and her brother Charles.

Carol is survived by her husband Chuck; two children, Brittany Robinson (Renato), and Adam High; her two sisters Joy Palmer (Bill), and Gwen Frantz (John); her four grandchildren, Quentin Denson, Taylor Denson, Jillian Robinson and D’Angelo Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.

Over her lifetime, she was a licensed beautician and she operated and taught classes in her own ceramic shop. Carol enjoyed gardening, cooking & baking, flower arranging, and catering weddings for friends and family. She regularly contributed to her favorite charities, including VFW, United Way and St. Vincent DePaul.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 12:00 P.M. at Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr.,Vandalia. Pastor Jon Ferguson will officiate. Family will be receiving friends at the Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
