Carolyn J. Huls

HULS, Carolyn J., age 57 of Vandalia, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born April 2, 1956 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Donald & Mildred (Rhuede) Huls. Carolyn attended Xavier University and Good Samaritan School of Nursing and was employed as a cardiology nurse at Miami Valley Hospital. She truly loved nursing and was a great asset to the medical community. Cardiology was appropriate for Carolyn as she had a heart of gold. She will be missed by all that knew her. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Steve & Ken Huls, Carolyn is survived by her brother, Joe Huls (Marika), sister-in-law, Peggy Huls; nephews Jeff (Dana), Dan (Hallie) & Christopher Huls, niece, Shannon (Justin) Jacobs along with a host of other relatives and friends. A Gathering for Family and Friends will be held Friday, January 10 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Private interment will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in Carolyn's memory.
