Carolyn M. Leyes

LEYES, Carolyn M., age 71 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at her residence. She was born March 23, 1942 in Hamilton, Ohio, daughter of the late Herbert F. & Margaret M. (Smith) Leyes. Carolyn was a member of the St. Christopher Catholic Church in Vandalia and a 1960 graduate of Julienne High School. Carolyn was a loving sister and devoted aunt to all of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Leyes of Tipp City; 4 brothers, Edward Leyes (Mary) of New Castle, IN, Frank Leyes (Mable) of Centerville, Paul Leyes (Anita) of Tipp City and Matthew Leyes (Joyce) of West Milton, along with her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 30 at St. Christopher Church, Vandalia with Fr. Francis Keferl officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the St. Christopher Church Memorial Fund in Carolyns memory.
