Carolyn R. "Kitty" Lindgren

LINDGREN, Carolyn R. “Kitty,” age 75 of Vandalia passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the Brookwood Retirement Community. She was born December 20, 1940 in Sidney, OH. Kitty was a former cashier at Henger’s Grocery, she loved to sew and had a passion for holiday decorating. She was also a member of the Purple Peddlers. Preceded in death by her husband, Randy and one son, Michael Connerton, Kitty is survived by her children, Darlene (Dave), Kristina (Kevin), and Scott (Jenni), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 8 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Interment will follow at Poplar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-7 pm and, also on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of service.
