Carolyn Wilson

WILSON, Carolyn L. age 73, of Vandalia, passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born November 10, 1934 in Dayton, daughter of the late Howard E. & Rachel A. (Williams) Mossbarger. Carolyn was a member of and retired from the Murlin Heights United Church of Christ, where she served as the church secretary. Preceded in death by the love of her life, William T. Wilson Sr. in 2004, Carolyn is survived by her children, Judith C. Wilson of Tipp City, William T. Wilson Jr. & wife, Valerie of Hudson, OH, & Rebecca Larsson of Vandalia; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, John E. Mossbarger & wife, Lynn of St. Mary's, and James I. Mossbarger of Wilmington; 1 sister, Linda F. Trismen of Anna; special nephew, Eric D. Trismen & wife, Lisa of CA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 4, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia, with Rev. Thomas Weeks & Rev. Duane Anders officiating. Burial to follow at Polk Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm.
