Caroyln Chambers

CHAMBERS, Carolyn F., age 65, of Huber Heights, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 12, 1941 in Washington, DC, daughter of the late Warren and Charlotte A. (Butler) Hanback. Carolyn loved to sing and play the piano and she appeared on television in a trio when she was a teenager. The love of her life was Elvis Presley, and she was a much-loved mother of 3 and grandmother of 5. Preceded in death by 1 sister, Bonnie Rivera, Carolyn is survived by 2 daughters, Alicia & husband, Mitch McMillan of Orlando, FL, and Bonnie & husband, Dan Ward of Huber Heights; 1 son, Duane & wife, Terrie Chambers of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, A.J., Nick and Savannah Ward and Ashley and Amanda McMillan; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 4, 2006 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 1:00 pm until time of service. If so desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Carolyns memory.
