Cathy J. Lutz

Age 67, of Vandalia, passed away at her home on Friday, December 27, 2024. Cathy was born in Dayton, Ohio on January 19, 1957 to William & Mary (Avery) Heizer. She was preceded in death by her father and by her sister, Brenda. 

Cathy was a member of the Piqua Church of the Brethren. 

In addition to her mother, Cathy is survived by her husband of the past 47 years, Larry H. Lutz; two sons, Larry A. Lutz and Jason C. Lutz & his wife, Heather; two grandchildren, Tobias and Anastasia Lutz; and by her extended family & many good friends. 

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Vandalia United Methodist Church, 200 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Kenneth Oren officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Cathy to the Piqua Church of the Brethren, 525 Boal Avenue, Piqua, Ohio 45356 or to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
