Charles E. Allen

ALLEN, Charles E. “Charlie”, of Huber Heights, passed way Friday, October 18, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on December 17, 1948 in West Liberty, KY, son of the late Richard & Lillie Mae Allen. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Enterprise Roofing. 

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Paul and Butch and 1 sister, Karen. 

He is survived by his children, Jennifer Evans (Justin) and Charlie Allen (Tara); his beloved companion, Joni; 6 grandchildren, Aiden, Madison, Luke, Kale, Easton and Scarlet; two brothers Gary (Sue) and James (Connie) along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. 

Charles was so proud of his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the best Papaw and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 23rd at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia from 11 am until time of service. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment with military honors will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
