Charles "Charlie" Fatone

FATONE, Charles “Charlie,” 77, of Butler Township, passed away Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. He was born to Blaise & Jane Fatone on Aug. 25, 1944 in New Rochelle, New York. Charlie was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church since 1969. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1967 and was a Flyer basketball season ticket holder since 1983. Charlie retired from Abbott Laboratories after 28 years of service.

Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rebecca “Becky” Fatone;  sons, Peter Fatone (Lora) and Andy Fatone (Amy); grandchildren, Claudia, Audrey, Drew, Charlie & Ben.

Visitation 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 E. National Rd., Vandalia. Interment to follow at the St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Newport, OH. If desired, memorial contributions can be made to Dayton Children’s Hospital in Charlie’s memory. Masks are encouraged .
